Andrews Behavioral Health announces
Becki Mangum as new CEO
Andrews Behavioral Health announces that Becki Mangum will serve as its new Chief Executive Officer, following the retirement of CEO Lynn Rutland this summer.
Mangum, currently serving as Deputy CEO, brings over 30 years of healthcare leadership experience and a deep commitment to enhancing access to quality mental health services.
Andrews Behavioral Health provides treatment for mental illness, substance use, and intellectual disabilities across five local counties: Smith, Henderson, Rains, Van Zandt, and Wood.
"I am deeply honored to be stepping into the role of CEO this summer and building on the progress we’ve made under Lynn’s leadership,” Mangum said. “I look forward to continuing to ‘move mountains’ for mental health through service enhancement and collaborative leadership,” she added.
Mangum has served as a leader at Andrews Behavioral Health for the past six years. Prior to being named CEO, Becki served as Deputy CEO and CFO, where she played a pivotal role in reshaping care models, expanding community outreach, and driving the organization’s cultural transformation.
Before joining Andrews Behavioral Health, Becki served the East Texas Medical Center Regional Healthcare System (ETMC) as Vice President of Physician Services. In this role, she managed strategic relationships with physicians and health systems across East Texas, contributing to the growth of ETMC's network, and leading efforts to optimize healthcare delivery across the region. She is a graduate of The University of Texas at Tyler.
Becki has been instrumental in driving key initiatives to expand access to care, foster a collaborative culture, and build meaningful partnerships within the community.
“Under Becki’s leadership, the organization has made significant strides, including restructuring care models, launching innovative programs to foster internal cultural transformation, expand community outreach and drive continuous quality improvement efforts,” Rutland said.
Keith Youngblood, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Andrews Behavioral Health, shared his enthusiasm: "Becki’s track record of integrity, strategic vision, and community-focused leadership makes her the ideal choice to guide Andrews into our next chapter. "
