Andrews Diversified Industries (ADI) partners with businesses in the community to provide quality vocational training and meaningful employment opportunities to differently abled individuals. ADI procures production and service contracts with its business partners and ensures the work performed will promote individual work skills, social adjustment and self-sufficiency for those we serve.

Vocational Services

Andrews Center strongly believes in the merits and benefits of employment. Individuals with mental, intellectual or physical disadvantages are capable of holding real jobs and earning fair wages, and should have equal opportunity to do so.

Andrews Center offers three options for consideration concerning vocational ambitions and needs:

Career Skills Training

Some individuals require specific training in pre-vocational areas prior to starting a job. Improvement in social skills, attention to tasks, and following directions are objectives met in this program.

Andrews Diversified Industries provides substantial work opportunities and pay to employees with disabilities. We operate a viable business through contracts with community partners and without the support of tax dollars. Facilities in Tyler and Athens emphasize competitive performance for customers and employees. The workforce is trained to become efficient and productive in order to promote our mutual success.

  Business Partnerships

 

Businesses of all types contract with ADI to make or package their products. Our workforce can assemble, package, collate and re-work items as needed in ADI facilities in Athens and Tyler. More than 70,000 square feet of space is available to meet customer and employee needs.

ADI is also employing more than 50 people in ten area counties through contracts requiring mobile work crews. These major contracts include litter control and grounds maintenance. These contracts are cost-effective options for our customers – who rely on our dependability and quality of service – while being an excellent source for on-the-job training, work history development, steady earnings and self-fulfillment for those we employ.

ADI specializes in medical device production and is FDA-approved and meets industry standards for quality products. Our goal is to continue to create job opportunities for the differently abled by growing our manufacturing offerings.
